I am sorry for your loss. To various degrees we are all scared of changes. Perhaps painting your current feelings will help you get through them easier.

My inner strength had being tested lately Hartmut, I lost last year my over loving but most of all, overprotective husband, my daughter will move farther away and I am scare of the changes. My body is strong but is not enough...

Like sooo many of your excellent paintings, you are a master in depicting the inner and outer turmoil so many women across our world have to face every day. And yet, they face it with the inner and outer strength - of their undefeatable and free spirit.

You have a unique style and a real gift...of touching those things so fundamental to all human beings in a gentle yet very effective way. I keep coming back to this work - thinking about doubt and haunting that feeling is. I think this painting embodies those feelings perfectly and there is the attraction to this haunting and beautiful work.
