Thanks to Jolanta commenting, I saw this work for the first time a few days ago. Did not have time to comment then, so came a-hunting through your magnificent galleries to find it. I've said it before Clotilde, but it bears repeating....that your work is phenomenal. You have the most amazing gift, one that goes far beyond your medium. Your work pierces us straight through the heart and evokes what is truly universal for humanity in our souls. There is such a humility and honesty in your paintings...it moves me greatly and keeps me coming back to look over and over again. That is one sign of great work...that it evokes greater understanding and feeling the longer one looks. I cannot wait to see what you are working on next!!! v/f

Dear Jolanta, you are so sweet! Have you noticed how much my titles also apply to my current life? Thank you dear friend.

I cannot believe I have not seen this work Clotilde..and again - I am in total awe! This is such familiar subject we all face...and I can't help but think of Leonard Cohen's song : "There is a crack..a crack in everything...thats how the light gets in...that's how the light gets in". oh, my! this is so very true! Brilliant work..emotional..speaking 1000 words and so compelling!! Bravo my friend! f/v

So simple a concept, yet so difficult to do. Beautifully done work of art, as always. Your work is so intimate, yet so universal, both at once. Instant v/f

Sharon,I am surprised how much my paintings are applicable to my life today..maybe because I was inspired always by him.Thank you so much for your wonderful encouragement.

Clotilde, this is your best dear lady, the resignation on their faces is so apparent, gosh this is just wonderfully expressed..and with your ever present glow around your subject... I imagine a gaurdian angel . v/f

Another masterpiece Clotilde! I love that you used the cracked eggs as a symbol because to me that is symbolic of the human personality "cracking," forcing it's surrender to then allow a greater aspect of Self to come into play. Adversity is difficult, but a great teacher...yes? v/f

The beautiful way you paint feelings, thoughts and emotions makes each one of painting a rare gem - so thought provoking. Brilliantly done! V/F
