Yes Susan it is true, weaving is an art too. Thank you so much for your kind comment.

Clotilde, This is Fantastic!! Weaving is such a complicated art medium. From the dyeing of the yarn and making orginal sketches of a patern, to the actual setting up of the loom, and then the final physical work of weaving the fabric, rug,or tapestry, every step takes creative thinking .I love Your paintings', careful construction of shapes ,colors and composition. This is a masterpiece.V/L Google it

Thank you very much Susan....I was inspired by the first artist we talked in a History Art Class, this was a characteristic of his work and his name was Giotto di Bondone.

Your paintings are all richly charged and colorful compositions. No wonder they receive so many comments, Clotilde.

I'm fascinated by the way you say so much in this lovely piece, Clotilde! The ladies clothing and hair seem all alike but each weaving is different.... so many layers of meaning about art, individuality and community woven together with gorgeous colors, diagonals and light!... v/f

This painting of traditions and old towns are so much fun to do...composition and color come so easy, and I love them. Thank you for liking them too Bonnie. :-)
