Thank you Randy. I started a painting expressing my coming out of his overprotection but entering a life with too many unexpected and difficult changes.

Very emotional painting Clotilde, the eyes tell the story - the light and pose enhance it! L/F

Thank you for your thoughtful comment M., I am very sensitive. In most of my paintings I have a touch of light, a window or door to show it was my choice and even if I was not happy with all his El Supremo personality he loved me and inspired me to do better.

A very expressive painting Clotilde. I read below all the discussion being taken and I look at both of you (you and your hubby).. The light of hope really was there at the back of you both. Seems as you both didn't look toward that direction. I can also see your hubby behind you, backing you up. A wonderful work. You manage to bring your thought and feelings wonderfully in painting. All the best to you Clotilde,,,L/F

Hello again Clothilde! It is always so interesting to know a little bit more about your work . Thank you very much. Now I'm looking at him again and there is a hint of mischievousness there ! I mean in a playful sense! And I can add to that what you are telling me that he is saying. So good to view this beautiful and thoughtful painting again this morning.

Dear Jane, now that he is gone my family is surprised how after having lived that overprotective life I have being strong and had made my own decisions, but is simple , he protected me but always admired me. Also I never kept quiet even if I was not able to change him....he is looking at you saying, nothing wrong here, she still loves me a lot and that is why I have to protect her. :-)
